Early Italian cinema

Hartstocht-en-heldendomCinema italiano in Europaklein

Today I added two uploads (scans) of older publications to my Publication list. Both deal with early Italian cinema. One (1993) is an Italian-written referential text, full of data, on the presence of early Italian cinema in the Netherlands, with special attention to the different genres (epic films, strong men & acrobats films, diva films). It was part of a volume on early Italian cinema in Europe, edited by the late Vittorio Martinelli. The other (1988) contains the English-written summaries of a Dutch-written volume I co-edited with Nelly Voorhuis. The book was edited in occasion of a retrospective on Italian cinema 1905-1945 shown in Amsterdam and other Dutch cities and co-organized by Nelly Voorhuis and me.
